Château Colombier-Monpelou

Chateau Colombier-Monpelou is a Cru Bourgeois since 1932, but the vineyards were already planted in the early nineteenth century. The vineyards , located on the famous plateau that dominates the view of the Pauillac region , is composed of the best Médoc grape varieties (Cabernet SauvignonCabernet Franc , Merlot and Petit Verdot ) . Owner was Laurent Godin until 1914, and then sold the property to Mr. Adde , who was owner until 1934. An underground cellar ensures the perfect aging which happens in oak barrels,  where they are kept until bottling . The property was bought by Baron Philippe de Rothschild SA in 2007 .
