The Caladoc grape is a cross between Cot noir (also called Malbec) and Grenache noir. The clusters are large and the berries are of medium size. This grape makes it possible to make highly attractive and distinctive wines, with an intense color and interesting tannins (without bitterness but very present). The Caladoc is also suitable for blending and for the vinification as a fruity rosé wine.
