Grenache noir

This grape of Spanish origin, was introduced in France during the Middle Ages.

The Grenache noir bunches and berries are medium in size. The potential accumulation of sugars in the grapes are very high, but the color quickly becomes paler as the yield increases. Generally, the acidity is low. Grenache N provides natural sweet wines (called vin doux naturel) who are wonderfully structured and aromatic.
