The AOC Côtes de Bordeaux Saint-Macaire is located on the right bank of the Garonne in the region of the Entre-deux-Mers. This appellation annually produces 1675 hectoliters of white wine on 65 hectares of rugged hills.
The soils consist of calcareous clay or sandy clay. They give soft and sweet white wines. The climatic conditions there are favorable for the development of the noble rot on the grape Semillon.
